Roberto Jiménez-Ramos is an architect born in Mexico City. He holds a degree in Architecture from the Universidad Iberoamericana, a Master's degree in Architectural Design from Harvard University, and a diploma in Finance from the Tecnológico de Monterrey.

He began his professional career in various architecture firms in Mexico and the United States, before founding Altiplano Arquitectura in 2003, where he has developed projects of varying scales for public and private clients. As a team, Altiplano has won numerous national and international competitions, establishing a practice recognized for its conceptual rigor and contextual sensitivity.

Throughout his career, Roberto has explored the importance of establishing a precise relationship between architecture and the physical, cultural, social, and economic forces that surround it. His work stems from a careful analysis of the site and seeks to ensure that each project emerges as a coherent response to the location, capable of generating long-term value in both spatial and investment terms.

Alongside his professional practice, he has held academic positions at various institutions, including the Universidad Iberoamericana, Universidad Anáhuac, and Tecnológico de Monterrey, participating in the training of new generations of architects and fostering a critical perspective on design and professional practice. He speaks fluent Spanish, English, and Italian, and is currently working to improve his French. Outside of his professional life, he enjoys sports, reading, and music, with a particular interest in contemporary jazz.
